Her thoroughly immersing series, The Tainted Accords, has dynamic and relatable characters, including the strong, smart, and secretly kick-ass female main character, Olina.
It is set in the fantasy worlds of Osolis (the world ravaged by fire) and Glacium (the ice world) which have an interdependent yet strained, and pretty tenuous, relationship with each other. It is all explained extremely well, without weighing down the character driven story. This makes everything completely believable... and difficult to put down.
The Tainted Accords was St Clare’s debut series, and her second series, The After Trilogy, is now available.
